How would you describe your style?

Do you do destination weddings?

How long do I have to wait to get my images back?

I LOVE traveling and seeing all the beautiful places this world has to offer, so that would be a HELL YES. I have been to many amazing places and would love to be a part of your adventure! Every location and destination wedding is different, so contact me for a custom quote! I promise to see what I can do within both our budgets!

This has always been a hard question for me I would say elegant and romantic. Both light + airy and moody editing styles have my heart but for the most point I tend to go with a lighter brighter feel.

My turn around time is 2-3 weeks, however I send out sneak peeks a day or 2 after your session! I work very hard behind the scenes to get your images to you as soon as possible.

Can you shoot in the rain / bad weather

What if I need to reschedule?

Can you hold a date for me?

If you’re down I’m there! My gear is all weather sealed and I have additional protection I can add to my set ups if need be!

I totally understand that life can be unpredictable and things come up! For regular photo sessions (non-wedding / destination) I kindly ask for 1 weeks’ notice (when possible) this way I can still fill the time slot. For wedding rescheduling, I will be required to keep your non-refundable deposit as this is how I ensure my bookings are fair in terms of first come first serve for dates. For extenuating circumstances, I will obviously do the best I can do be accommodating, please just contact me and make me aware of the situation.

I am so sorry, but I cannot hold your date or pencil you in until I have your non-refundable retainer and a signed contract. I do this to make sure it is fair for everyone. My bookings are based on a first come first serve basis.

How many Images will I receive?

Are you LGBTQ Friendly?

When should I look at booking my wedding / elopement?

All of my sessions very from weddings with 1000+ images to commercial headshots with 1-2 perfectly retouched images. All of my session guides will have a minimum image count included in them so be sure to check for each of your session!

It breaks my heart that this question still has to be asked. LOVE is for anyone and everyone no matter what gender, race, age or religion. I am a true believer that love has no labels. Love is love, plain and simple. So yes, of course.

I would suggest as soon as you have your date + venue confirmed. Typically, it’s about 12-18 months in advance for a full wedding and anywhere from 6-12 months for elopements!

Do you have backup gear and insurance?

Do I get the copy right?

How do you safe guard your files / what is your backup process?

The protection of your images is something I take extremely seriously. I have many steps throughout my workflow to ensure your images are safe. During your shoot I will be shooting all the images onto two memory cards so straight out of camera I always have a backup. I keep these cards in separate places at all times until they are uploaded and backed up to my systems. I keep one copy of the card on me at all times and the other in my camera bag this way if my bag gets stolen, I still have a copy. I upload your photos and make backup copies as soon as I possibly can. There will be a copy of your images on my working drive, my backup raid network as well as the memory card. I make sure to always have AT LEAST two copies of your images at all times.

As the content creator, under Canadian copyright law I am the copyright owner of the images. However, you have the freedom to share, print and use your images for personal use however you see fit. I do not watermark my images and you are more than welcome to print them at your lab of choice if you decide you do not want to print through me. What you can’t do is provide them to any sort of commercial entity for commercial use. So, if you’d like to enter the images in a magazine to win prize money or anything that would be making you money off the images is not allowed. If your other vendors would like to use them, I am happy to share! However, I just request you send me a list of the vendors you are working with and their contact information so I am able to give them a proper usage agreement!

Yes, I do! I am very aware that sometimes there are things that can happen that are out of my control so I do my very best to prepare for these worst scenario situations. I have my main camera and a backup body as well; I have a variety of lenses so that if something were to happen with one, I will still be able to get you amazing images. I protect my gear in every way I can. I have warrantee on every single piece of my equipment, weather protection to cover my gear if it were to start downpouring rain. If everything that could possibly go wrong went wrong, I also have gear I would be able to borrow as well (it is HIGHLY unlikely this will ever happen but I am still always prepared!)

Can you help us with our timeline for the day?

Can I give you a shot list?

How does the album design process work?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE albums. There is something so special about having your photos printed and beautifully put together as an heirloom to pass down from generation to generation. After your wedding is finished and I have delivered all of your gorgeous images I will have a favourites list set up on your online gallery to pick out your favourite images that you’d like added in your album! I will do a first design of your album and send it off to you for review and revision. At this point if there is anything you’d like to change we can do so at that point! I will go back and forth changing what we need until you are happy with your preview! Once you are happy with the final design, we will meet to go over one more time to make sure it is perfect for you and pick out the paper and materials you’d like. During this time, I will take payment for your album (if it isn’t included in the package you’ve chosen) and send it off for printing!

When you book me, you have my FULL attention. I would love to help you plan your timeline to help insure we can have the best lighting and enough time for the perfect photos! I also send out guides to help with your planning process and will try to answer or help with any questions I can! To be clear there are some limits to this, I will not be coming to your dress fitting, help you decide on what colour linens or what flavour of cake you’d like (I wish I had time to be with you through all the little steps unfortunately I am just one girl and have multiple couples and only so many hours in my day). I will give any vendor recommendations, timeline advice and basic planning tips I can!

You most certainly can! I would love to see all your Pinterest boards and amazing inspiration ideas; you’ve worked hard on putting those together. However, I will use your list as more of a reference then a guide. I have a flow that works well for getting the majority of images that you will want already. If there are specific things you want to make sure I get I would recommend giving your list to a trusted friend or family member and they can cross off all your poses as I take them and then at the end if there is anything i’ve missed I will definitely make sure to get those! I do always recommend making up a list of groupings you’d like for family formals so I can ensure that I haven’t missed anyone!

Can I receive the raw unedited files?

I shoot and edit all of my session in Raw to ensure the maximum detail and colour information is available for my editing. However, I do not deliver raw files, I deliver full resolution jpg’s in my packages. Asking for raw files is in some way like asking a sculptor for their clay before they’ve actually sculpted it. Editing is a big part of what makes my work MY work. If you are insistent on RAW files, I am open to a discussion but very rarely do I allow this.
